Sentry SDK

Captures errors, breadcrumbs, performance spans, and user context. Transmits via HTTPS POST to the ingest endpoint.

End-to-end encrypted. Certificate managed by Traefik. No CDN or proxy outside UK.
Traefik
Reverse proxy + TLS
Image: traefik:v3. Handles TLS termination, rate limiting, and routing. HSTS enabled with 1-year max-age. Runs on the same VPS.
GlitchTip Web
Django + Gunicorn
Image: glitchtip/glitchtip:v6. Handles API endpoints, issue grouping, deduplication, and the Angular frontend. 4 Gunicorn workers.
PostgreSQL 16
Event + metadata store
Image: postgres:16-alpine. Stores all events, issues, projects, organisations, and user data. Daily pg_dump backups to Contabo Object Storage (EU2).
Redis 7
Cache + sessions
Image: redis:7-alpine. Caching layer for frequently accessed data and session storage.
Valkey 7
Celery broker
Image: valkey/valkey:7-alpine. Message broker for Celery async task queue. Redis-compatible, open-source fork.
Celery Workers
Async processing
Same GlitchTip image. Handles event grouping, deduplication, alert dispatch, data retention cleanup, and scheduled tasks via Celery Beat.
Object Storage
Contabo EU2
S3-compatible object storage for backups and file attachments. Located in EU (German-operated). Encrypted at rest.
