For developers

Five minutes from npm install to your first event.

Install the Sentry SDK you already know. Change the DSN to Portsmouth. Ship. That’s the entire integration.

1

Create a project

Sign in to your Glancio console, pick your platform, and receive a DSN pointing at glancio.co.uk.

2

Install the SDK

terminal
npm install @sentry/node

# or for the browser:
npm install @sentry/react

Any @sentry/* SDK works. Node, Python, Ruby, Go, Java, PHP, .NET, Rust, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, React Native, Bun, Deno.

3

Initialise with your DSN

sentry.server.config.ts
import * as Sentry from "@sentry/node";

Sentry.init({
  dsn: "https://[email protected]/1",
  environment: "production",
  tracesSampleRate: 0.2,
});
4

Deploy and observe

Your first error appears in the console within seconds. Sourcemaps, release tracking, and breadcrumbs work exactly as they do with Sentry. The only difference: your data stays in Portsmouth.

Compatibility

Full protocol parity.

Glancio consumes the Sentry event protocol. Everything that works with Sentry works with Glancio: sourcemaps, releases, breadcrumbs, performance tracing, session replay hooks, and user feedback.
